We can spin mild steel up to 1/8", stainless steel 1/16", aluminum 1/4", brass 1/8", and copper up to 3/16". We spin many other metals as well, please inquire.

Tooling:

We produce metal spinning chucks (mandrels), roller and trim tooling in house from numerous materials to produce your parts. Depending on the part's material, thickness, production volume and required precision, the tooling is made from tool steel, low carbon steel, brass, aluminum, phenolic, epoxy resin-fiber, nylon, hardwood and other materials and combinations some of them proprietary to D.Q, but developed to produce your parts accurately and economically. Segmented, split, key and plug tooling are also produced in house.

Secondary Operations:

We can CNC punch or laser cut precision openings & hole patterns in flat nosed part geometries before the part is spun. We also produce metal side openings and hole patterns using horn tooling.
